As one of the biggest manufacturers of VAC-Roll in China, SDI have the qualification to provide new VAC-Rolls and maintenance services for the paper-making customers, which adopts the international and advanced resin sand molding and the medium-frequency electric furnace smelting method.
SDI can normally provide the VAC-Roll cylinder φ1250, φ1500 with face length within 10m and working speed 1500m/min meeting ASME international standards to the paper industry customers.
VAC-Roll Functions
The main function of the VAC-Roll cylinder is to change the drying head from the original top and bottom fabric into one. The paper break and paper disease can be reduced. Generally, when the speed of the paper machine exceeds 400m/min, a VAC-Roll cylinder will be arranged in the front of the dryer.
Another advantage of VAC cylinder is that it is easy to handle in case of paper breakage. If the VAC-Roll cylinder is arranged, the damaged paper falls directly onto the ground, and can also be directly conveyed to the pulper by conveyor belt. Therefore, the high-speed paper machine generally adopts the single-tie arrangement of VAC-Roll cylinders.
